Gear Products manufactures both catalog and custom designed hydraulic pump drives to fit the customers application. A large variety of options are available.

Designed and constructed specifically for high-torque, low-speed, continuous-duty rotation systems, all models feature heavy-duty pinions mounted on tapered roller bearings for repeated dynamic shock and side-load reliability. Caliper dynamic brakes and internal brakes are available on select models.

• View Planetary Swing Drives

The PG Series of planetary winches are maximum rated from 5,600 lb to 15,000 lbs line pull at the cable drum. Carefully chosen gear ratios and motor sizes provide optimum line speed and pull for specific applications. All planetary winches incorporate a spring applied-hydraulic brake. A counter balance valve in the hydraulic circuit provides dynamic braking control.

Gear Products rotators are custom made to the application and are an excellent choice for small to medium (up to 150,000 ft-lbs) moment capacity applications as they are smaller, less expensive and easier to mount than the combination of a worm gear drive and slewing ring bearing

Gear Products slewing ring bearings are usually custom fit to the customer's application, as there are no lead time or cost disadvantages (additional tooling is generally not required). See ten examples below.

Gear Products worm gear drives are uniquely engineered for precise rotational system positioning needs. Back-driving designs are available as are integral brake options. These are ideal for intermittent duty applications on mobile equipment requiring a low-profile, right-angle drive, capable of absorbing shock and sideloads while providing exact positioning control.

GPI offers five series of worm gear winches. Winch output torque ratings are available from 5,150 in.-lbs to 75,500 in.-lbs providing 1st layer line pulls from 2,250 lbs to 15,000 lbs. All GPI winches are designed for direct hydraulic motor drive and can be customized for a particular application. GPI is prepared to furnish the complete winch with motor and customer specified drum. Or, at the customer option, supply the appropriate winch assembly less the hydraulic motor and/or the winch drum.
